Easy to set up repo

Needed a private repository for a new project. Signed up for the Pro Plan. It was quick and easy. Everything worked as expected. Good service.

Pro Plan was worth it

I was looking for a good deal on version control and decided to try the Pro Plan. The cost for the features, especially the private repositories and GitHub Actions minutes, felt really reasonable. I compared it to some other services, and GitHub offered the best value for what I needed. Got it during a promo, so that made it even better. I feel like I got a lot for my money, and it's been working out great for my personal projects.

Good for teams, some minor quirks

We upgraded to the Team Plan for our small dev group a few weeks ago. The collaboration features like Branch Protection and GitHub Issues are solid, really helped us streamline our workflow. Setting up permissions was straightforward enough. My only small gripe is that the documentation for some of the more advanced features, like setting up self-hosted runners, could be a bit clearer. We figured it out eventually, but it took a bit more digging than expected. Overall, it's a valuable tool for us.

Reliable as always

I've been using GitHub for years, mostly the free tier for personal projects. Recently got the Pro Plan for a client project that needed more features, like GitHub Pages and more LFS Storage. It's consistently reliable; never had issues with uptime or performance. Just like my previous experiences, setting up new repos and inviting collaborators was smooth. They've kept things pretty consistent over time, which is why I keep coming back.

Copilot is pretty neat

I tried out the GitHub Copilot free trial last month. It was super helpful for auto-completing code snippets, especially when I was working on some repetitive stuff. Made things a lot faster than usual, and I didn't have to Google every little syntax thing. Definitely made my dev work easier, I'll probably subscribe.
